Day 9 - Our last day in the parks

Sunday 20 April.

Today the park opening hours reduced, instead of opening at 8 Disneyland opened at 9am.  We were in the parks ready for rope drop, and I sent Nick on ahead with Hannah (they are both fast walkers) to get in line to see Elsa and Anna from Frozen.  We thought it was our best chance to see them, as other mornings they only started meeting guests an hour after opening, and the queue immediately stretches to 2-4 hours long.  When I caught up to Nick we were told that from where he was in line would still take 120 minutes!

We weren't that desperate to meet them, so we headed of to ride Dumbo instead...

Hannah and I waiting for Dumbo to take off.

The back-end of Melissa's elephant.

We did a few more rides that we hadn't done yet, then went to the Belle show, this is similar to the Repunzel show we did earlier in the week, were she comes out to greet guests and sign autographs afterwards..

Nick had to stay with the girls to meet Belle, as while we were in the Emporium a wee bit earlier I spied this bag...

It is a Harvey's Seatbelt bag, and I only had half an hour to decide if I wanted it, this is because they currently have a promotion in the parks, when you eat at a counter service food outlet they give you a voucher on the receipt for 20% off merchandise but you can only use it prior to 1pm.

I text Wendy to get her opinion and she loved it too, so I had to race off to buy this while Nick was with the girls meeting Belle.

We went and rode Splash Mountain for the last time, and we shared a lemon honey cupcake from the Hungry Bear...

Then we went to Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree to see the special Easter offerings, they had all the Disney rabbits making appearances at different times for photos, we saw these guys...

Roger Rabbit

The white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (I think).

Minnie in her Easter dress.

Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh

And Briar Rabbit.

We also saw these guys from Toystory...

I just found a photo from the day before when we met Cruelia de Ville - she was a sour one!

And that was that, 9 days in Anaheim and we went to the parks all 9 days.  We did everything we wanted to (that was open) and only missed a couple of rides overall.  The only main character we didn't meet or even see was Donald Duck.  Our feet are all begging for a rest as we walked well over 10km each day.

Tonight we spent packing our bags as tomorrow we are driving to Las Vegas, I think our feet will enjoy the 4-5 hour car ride.
